Curriculum

In March 1999 she graduated in Political Science at the University of Bologna and she was awarded the prize for the best curriculum studiorum of the year in Political Science. In April 2004 she earned her PhD in Contemporary History at University of Bologna (supervisor: Gaetano Quagliariello). Her dissertation's title was: Raymond Aron and Gaullism, 1940-1958. She was awarded the "Prix Raymond Aron" from the Société des Amis de Raymond Aron.

From January 2006 to December 2009 she was a Research Fellow at the Dipartimento di Scienze Storiche e Socio-Politiche, Università LUISS-Guido Carli, Rome.

Since July 2010 she is Assistant Professor in Political History at IMT Lucca.

She has given lectures at the Universities of Bologna, LUISS-Guido Carli, Paris X, Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan. From 2007 to 2010 she has been an Assistant teacher in Comparative History of European Political Systems at the University LUISS-Guido Carli, Rome.

Since 2010 she teaches Europeans Political Systems: Historical Approaches (MA in International Relations) at the University LUISS-Guido Carli, Rome.

Her research focuses on French political history (19th and 20th Century), especially Gaullism and European integration seen by French perspective; French intellectual history; Italian political history (20th century). She is currently preparing a book on French intellectuals and the Cold War which is going to be published by Routledge Ed.
